German Drawers with full pull-out mechanism feature advanced
technical equipment which increases the value and function .
A double-walled steel frame system is just
one example among others.
All front drawers, internal drawers, front pull-outs and internal
pull-outs are equipped with this high developed buffering system as a standard fitting. This ensures that the drawers can be utilised 100% with optimal visual and physical access.
German Kitchens drawer and pull-out rails are completely covered and run smoothly
and silently on technically high developed plastic rollers. The
self-closing mechanism closes the drawers the last 3-5 cm smoothly
ensuring a secure closed position. The fronts are fitted in a way
that allows for multi-dimensional adjustment, thereby ensuring perfect
alignment of all fronts.
From the material used right up to assembly everything is planned
to ensure that all installed units can be recycled without any problem.
Anti slip-mats
German Kitchens front drawers, internal drawers, front pull-outs and internal
pull-outs are equipped with anti slip-mats. For all wood carousel
shelves we recommend to use anti slip-mats as an additional article.
Load-bearing capacity and reliability
The drawers and pull-out guiding systems are controlled by a
specially coordinated quality safety feature:
Load 30 kg dynamically for drawer
Load 30 kg dynamically for pull-outs up to 60 cm width
Load 50 kg dynamically for pull-outs up to 80 cm width
A load reserve of more than 25% is considered for the above mentioned loads.

Hinges
German Kitchens use all-metal, automatic hinges with height adjustable mounting plates
close the door automatically and are used for all 107° opening
doors.
Hanging fixtures
The covered all-metal hanging fixture guarantees a total load-capacity
of 130 kg per wall unit incl. content. Additional drilling guarantees
the safe and stable anchoring of fitting to side of unit.
The metal suspension fittings are mounted with special screws and
guarantee safe support.
Carcase
The German Kitchens carcase sides, base shelves and shelf units are made of multi-layered
chipboard, melamine-resin coated on both sides. The carcase is constructed
using furniture manufacturing proven dowel joints.
German carcase front edges all have softened thick edging. Thick edging
means added value and at the same time safety and improved edge
protection. Sealing strips are provided for carcase edging with
some exceptions.
Wall units have the same finish on carcase external sides, top-
and base shelves.
Rear panels are set back for ventilation between wall and kitchen
furniture, an important precondition for long lifespan of installation
units and furniture.
All internal shelves have 1,3 mm thick edging on the front for increased protection. The internal depth of carcases has the required spaced drilling
for shelves. Drilling is only carried out where needed. The drilling distance between the holes is 64 mm, with drilling
dia. 5 mm. We deliver caps for covering shelf drillings. Visible external sides are available in laminated high gloss, veneered
or lacquered finish at a surcharge.

German Kitchens Worktops
The testing of multi-layered chipboards is performed according to
DIN 68930 and DIN EN 438.
The underside of worktops is coated. The front edge receives additional
coating which protects and seals against humidity.
A steam protection shield / protection foil fixed to the underneath
of the worktop is required at side for built-in dishwashers. Worktop
corner joints are manufactured with tongue and groove joints. Worktops
should be bonded using the screw-fixings and anti-humidity glue.
For safety reasons do not use silicon for worktop joints.
Plinth
German kitchens standard heights are 10/12.5/15/17.5 and 20 cm.
The plinth feet of every base- and tall unit are made of recyclable, impact- and moisture resistant laminate. The plinth foot insert
is
attached with dowels to the carcase bottom and protrudes into the upright carcase side.
Due to this construction the weight of tall appliance units especially are carried by the carcase sides and not by the carcase base.
For exact height adaptation the plinth feet are adjustable from + 25 mm to - 20 mm.
Plinth scribes are made of multi-layered chipboards and match the carcase colour.
The plinth base edge is sealed by a laminate profile so that humidity
cannot seep into the plinth cavity. The plinth side panels are clipped with special dowels to the plinth foot insert.
German kitchens include carcase material plinth panels in base and tall unit
prices. For added value finishes like veneer, laminate high gloss,
metal foil stainless steel or aluminium. |
